Individual Support
There are three easy ways to make a donation to the Waterloo Regional Children's Museum Annual Fund:
Annual donors can choose to have a tax receipt for the full amount of their gifts or, if the gift is over $85, a partial receipt will be issued for the remaining amount while allowing you to enjoy the additional benefits of Membership. For information on giving categories and benefits starting at $125 click here We appreciate your support. The Waterloo Regional Children's Museum was fortunate to receive a $4 million donation from The Musagetes Foundation. It is our hope this gift will be directed into an endowment fund to help subsidize operating costs and keep admission prices accessible. This donation will help to ensure the financial stability of our new organization and is important in helping the Museum meet its annual operating budget. You can help us build the Endowment Fund to ensure that Museum has a continuous and secure source of funding. Endowment Funds provide security by releasing only a portion of the interest earned on the fund, thereby protecting the initial gift in perpetuity. Designated Contributions and Planned Gifts, such as bequests and proceeds from an insurance policy, are common sources of endowed funds. Planned Giving - The Ultimate Gift
The Museum's staff are pleased to work with you and your financial advisors to set up a planned gift suited to your lifestyle, personal and financial circumstances. We appreciate your consideration in making a planned gift to the Museum. Please, don’t forget if you plan to make a gift to the Museum, please inform us of your generosity.

Gifts In Tribute
The Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum has adopted the Ethical Fundraising & Financial Accountability Code (Link to www.ccp.ca) Charitable Number: 86950 9554 RR0001 We appreciate having a facility where my family can visit to discover and learn together. My children love it and I love to see the way their faces light up with they visit. Both my husband and I have as much fun as the children. Carol Ann Achtymichuk, Cambridge Capital Campaign Leader. We really believe in this project. It is important to us that the Museum’s future is financially secure and keeps the facility accessible and affordable. Representatives of The Musagetes Foundation The idea of using art as the vehicle to explore technology is inspired to start children exploring, playing intuitively and creating with the building blocks of technology is very important. The open-ended nature of the exhibits produces a museum unlike any other in Canada. Jim Balsillie, Chairman & Co-CEO, Research In Motion (RIM) |
