Meet our inaugural Artist in Residence, Ian Newton.  Ian is a local Kitchener artist who will be working with the Museum to develop creative programs and events around the theme of art and technology at play!

Ian studied drawing and painting at the Ontario College of Art and in 1999 he founded Ballroom Studios, a collection of workspaces for local contemporary artists. Ian has worked in many media and is known for his sculptural installations and multi-disciplinary events.

Stop by and say ‘hi’ to Ian in the Open Studio!

Check back soon for a detailed list of activities and events that will take place with Ian and other guest artists during the year!
